Burlesque festivals offer performers an incredible opportunity to perform, travel, and broaden their community. But how do you get in? What can you expect while there? And why spend the money?
This class discusses the ins-and-outs of burlesque festivals including: How to get into one, the perks of going, competing v showcasing, what to expect while there, and how to prepare yourself mentally.
We will also review: What kinds acts and videos to submit
There will also be time to discuss acts you are interested in submitting, bring a video or a strong idea you want to share.
About Veronica Voss:
Veronica Voss, is a Los Angeles burlesque dancer who has been performing for over 13 years. She is a multi-award winning performer who has showcased and competed in over 25 festivals. She currently serves as the Production Manager for The Hollywood Burlesque Festival, giving her specific insight into the behind the scenes.
